The

|
Giambattista
Bodoni of Parma, Italy, has been called the king of printers and the printer
of kings. He designed and cut his typefaces at the end of the eighteenth
century. The Bodoni is recognized by its high contrast between thick
and thin strokes, pure vertical stress, and hairline serifs. It is one
of the most explicitly classical typefaces in any library. |
