The
Caslon
|
The
first Caslon old faces were designed in 1725 by William Caslon.
Caslon
types are considered warm and friendly and comfortable to the eye. They
have a robust texture, sturdy forms, and a wide variety of shapes. The
strokes in Caslon are heavier than many earlier old style fonts
; the serifs are thicker and a bit stubby.
And
remember that, “in doubt, use Caslon”. |
